Gavin wanted to play a spring sport and was positive that he didn't want to play baseball. He decided on flag football. He hasn't done to bad, but we have decided our son is a "fair weather" player. He hates it when it is cold. He is on the Vikings and is having fun. He plays every Saturday at 11:00. I have missed a few due to track, but we have worked it out that either Phil or myself is there for the games. Due to another hernia, he has to stop playing and won't be able to play for at least 6 weeks. The season will be over by then, so I feel bad, but we are getting the hernia taken care of on Wednesday.
Gavin likes playing QB, but I'm shooting for RB. He has got some speed, but he has to stay focused on where he is running. He tends to drift....... I also need to teach him how to run exactly, but he really is having fun and learning which is just fine by me!

That's too bad he doesn't get to finish the season. But I think you better get that hernia fixed.
