First Day of 1st Grade

Gavin started 1st grade at Middle Canyon Elementary. He has Miss Keel and was very excited. He had to dress in all black, since that is his new favorite color (YUCK!) and of course, it had to be John Deere. Phil was able to be home that first day, so that meant the Scooter was home also. Needless to say, Gavin talked me into taking him to school on it. It was SCARY! I prayed I wouldn't crash the stupid thing. It was hillarious. I went down later to go to lunch with him. He was happy to see Aunt Susie who took great care of him and was so proud that he had memorized his lunch number. Lunch was interesting because 1, they only get 20 mins. to get their food and eat, and 2, they were having burritos, which he doesn't like. I told him to just try it. He ate almost the entire burrito and told Aunt Susie that she makes the best burritos ever and that she should tell me how to make them like that. Jaycee was upset that she didn't get to go to school, but she starts after Labor Day! YEAH! With two gone, I might get something done! (Right?!)

Vampire

I guess that my little niece is way into the "Twilight" series, because she decided to play the roll of vampire and bite Kyson. She left a beautiful double crested moon on his forearm. He cried and cried, but I don't think he will hold any hard feelings. The scar is still there and I am hoping, that given time, it will fade away. She is a tad bit jealous of the baby, but we are working on it. Now, she just smothers him in kisses.
