Food! Glorious Food!

Watch out Oliver, because Kyson is an eating machine. This boy can put away the food, well cereal. I feed him about a 1/2 a cup at night, then nurse him and then give him 6 ounces of formula before going to bed. And to top it all off, he gets up around 4:30 a.m. to nurse again!!!!!!!!!!!!! If he keeps this up, I will have to get a second job just to pay for his food!

Christmas: Ware?

Little behind on the posts, so here is a brief overview of our Christmas. We had a blast! Gavin got a DS, that I can't keep him off of, well, if he's not on it, I am! I know, it's terrible. Jaycee got Sleeping Beauty and Belle barbies. Kyson got clothes! All the kids got a Webkinz, which, of course, I have to play. I'm getting addicted to my kids' toys! According to Gavin, Phil was extra good this year, because he got a new flat screen, and an MP3 player. My parents gave me a Black Hills Gold necklace and I got new bedding for my room. I'm planning on doing the full makeover in January. Watch out Ty Pennington! We got together with my family later on and had a great meal and laughed about old times and then opened more presents. It was a lot of fun! Here is some pics and I hope everyone had a great holiday!

I have a TONGUE!

On Sunday, Kyson found his tongue. It is like a little worm that pokes its head out at you. He is really funny with it, because you can say "Kyson stick out your tongue" and show him yours, and then he mimics you! It is really cute. He sticks it out now all the time and when you look at him doing it, he just starts to giggle. It is hilarious!

It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt.....

This weekend we had the Ware family party. Phil's dad flew in from Hawaii and his sister, Amanda and her little boy, Mason came from Cali. We haven't seen Amanda since March when Mason was only 6 weeks old! He has grown so much and is quite the cutie. His big brown eyes are to die for and he has a wonderful smile. Grandma Dori took all the grand kids to see Santa out at the depot. They came home with a large loot and I couldn't help but think, is it Halloween or Christmas? Anyway, then the kids played at our house, we fed our faces full of yummy ham and goodies and even shoveled some snow!!(FINALLY) The kids started playing our original Nintendo (yes the 80s-90s version) and asked Aunt Karen to come and play with them. Well, I can't pass up a challenge, so down the stairs I went to compete in some Track and Field. So, I got on the mat, kicked some trashed, jumped up in the air, hands raised, when SMACK! Forgetting that the ceiling fan was turned on, I proceeded to try to amputate my left index finger. I will never again tell my kids that they will chop off their finger if they put it in a fan, because I proved that myth wrong. It turned pretty colors and got really swollen. The x-ray didn't show a clear break, so we don't know, but it HURTS! AFter my injury, Santa showed up to give some gifts and then we had a great time opening family presents. The kids loved it. It is a great tradition and I'm glad we got to be together as a family.

As I read other blogs, I am happy to hear and see that all children go through a phase of HATING Santa Claus. Jaycee isn't so fond of him. She will go stand by him, but the sitting on the lap...WHOA! You have gone way to far. So, I'm glad that she is semi happy in these pics. Note, she is on Mrs. Claus' lap. Kyson could have cared less. He was just his same old happy self.

4 Months!

Well, our little man is now just over 4 months old and growing like a weed. We went to the Dr. on Friday and he weighed in at 17 lb. 9 oz, was 26 inches long, but he still has a small head. I love his little head, but hey, I'm very prejudice! He has been a wonderful baby and Phil said he wished he were rotten, because I would probably be done having kids, if he was. I still don't know if we are done, but he is a great smiley baby and I won't complain that he wakes up on the dot at 4:23 a.m. every morning to eat and then goes back to sleep. I love him to death and wouldn't trade him for the world! I love you Kyson!

Thanksgiving

I'm a little behind on the blog, so sorry about all the posts. However, Thanksgiving was great. I ate till my heart was content and I don't care how much weight I gained!!!! It was most fabulous that Phil's dad came from Hawaii and got to see Kyson for the first time. Kyson is a spit image of his brother, dad, and grandpa! As you can see in the pics. I was so glad to see his dad. I can't wait for him to move back home! It's been great to have Dorinda here for the last 2 months, I've even used her babysitting already! But Thanksgving, a time for thanks so here is my top 10 things I'm grateful for.
10. Low gas prices! Diesel is $2.29! No more driveway ornament!
9. My hubby's job, even if it stinks at times!
8. My house with heat and electricity!
7. My health, I may have muffin top, but I'm not sick!
6. The grand old U.S. of A! 'Cause I'm proud to be an American!
5. My adoptive children: Franklin and Elizabeth!
4. My extended family: Mom's, Dad's, sisters, brothers, nephews, and nieces.
3. My three rugrats that keep me hopping and smiling: Gavin, Jaycee, and Kyson.
2. My amazing hubby who loves me even at midnight when I want to talk.
1. The gospel! Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer. My love for him grows daily.
I hope all had a great Thanksgiving full of memories that will be remembered every year!

Why to the North Pole of course....This is the Polar Express!

The day before Thanksgiving, my family and I went to Heber to ride the Polar Express. It was a wonderful little trip and great for all those you can "still hear the bell ring." We had two great "elves" on the train with us that told jokes, that Gavin thought were hilarious and repeats them daily, had hot chocolate "as rich as melted chocolate bars" and chocolate chip cookies. Then, we had a girl read the story of the Polar Express. We then sang some Christmas carols and once we reached the North Pole, Santa came aboard and gave each of the kids a bell off of his sleigh. The kids loved it, except, Jaycee is not so sure about Santa. My mom went to the trouble and made all the kids matching p.j. bottoms, all out of camo and very adorable! We had a great time and I would highly recommend it if you still believe! WE DO!!!!!!
