In Full Swing....

So this is the main reason that I haven't had time to blog. Track takes my life and what little bit I have left I devote to being a mother. This has been a great year, but I'm still saddened with it coming to an end. Because of the opening of the new Stansbury High School we lose 2 of our coaches to that school and our head Boys coach is moving to San Antonio. This leaves me and dad left at Tooele for next year. Like our song states, "tears to those we leave along the way. All good fellows we are here to stay, Forever and Forever in Tooele." Despite this we are having a fabulous year with many new records set and bringing home the trophies from the invitationals. We already have a number of State qualifiers and our school will be well represented at the State Meet. Rylee Mulitalo broke the school discus record with a throw of 126 feet and some change, and Mason Halligan broke his school record in the Jav with a throw of 176 feet. I love working with the kids and unity that they have formed. They are great kids with great attitudes and I couldn't ask for anything more.

Happy Birthday to ME!!

Ok, so it has been over a month since my birthday, but I did have one. I turned 29 and I'm not ashamed to admit that. Of course, that is the oldest I will ever get, but for now, all is well. So, I had a great day and this was my birthday present. Not as "flashy" as Allison's bling, but still I will greatly benefit from it. Really it was what we did with our tax return. But it is SOOOOOOOO nice. Our house stays cool and shaded and the dog has been enjoying it also. We've had our fair share of rain this month and we can go out there, sit under it and enjoy the elements. I love it!

Rub-A-Dub-Dub

I had to bathe Maddy and wouldn't you know that the minute I got her in the other two had stripped down to their nothings and were ready to get in with her. It was quite funny and they played for like an hour. Silly sidewalkers!

Messmaker, messmaker make a mess!

So, I'm slacking in the blogging aspect of life, so I will do my best to update you on our live the last month and a half.

As you know, Amanda moved in with us in Feb and along with her came her cutie son, Mason, 15 months old. I guess I forgot what it was like having a one year old around, but as you can see, I was quickly reminded. He never plays with anything, just gets out everything from a cupboard or a drawer and sprawls them throughout my house. It is a lot of messes that we clean up, but he still is lots of fun and we wouldn't trade him.

So Allison, when you called us to google the church house, we really wanted to talk to you, but since it was international LONG distance, we couldn't tell you what we were up to. All I'm going to say is that they were MASSIVE muskrats!!!! HOLY HANNAH!!!!! Here a pic just for you!

Awe Vederszane?

Phillips sister Allison use to live in Missouri, but now she lives in Amsterdam, Netherlands! She flew out to Utah over the weekend of the 22nd to see us all and say goodbye. It was nice, we had all the family there minus Dad and one sister, Crystal, which is good for us! We will sure miss them, but they will have soooooo much fun over there. I'm just a tad bit jealous! However, since Phil's dad is moving home from Hawaii at the end of next month and this will now x our exciting far away trips, we will go the other direction and hit Europe. We are hoping(keyword) to get there next year for at least 2 weeks and hit all of Europe, minus kids!!! (I know that is kind of mean- OH WELL!) We did hear from Allison and her family the day after they got there, and a quick conversation one other time, but nothing else. We wish them the best of luck!!!!! We love and miss you.

SEVEN!!!!

Can you believe it? My oldest son turned 7 years old the other day, and Kyson turned 7 months! It is crazy how fast time flies by. I feel like I was just pushing Gavin out of me screaming at the T.V. as I watched the 2002 winter Olympics. He is a little stinker at times, but I wouldn't trade him for the world. He is getting so big and MORE smart alecky (?), is that even possible? He loves going to school for the social aspect, but did tell me he likes math.
So for his birthday this year he wanted to have a friend party and go bowling. I was going to allow that, UNTIL I saw his list: 30 PEOPLE!!! I said NO WAY! He wasn't very happy, but we compromised and he got to invite 25 boys (AHHH, I know!!!) but we had to have a movie, "late night." So on Friday the 21st, we had 15 boys over to the house to watch "Star Wars:The Clone Wars" ate popcorn, treats and had soda. Then we opened presents had root beer floats and called it good. It was crazy and I will probably never do it again, but he had fun. All he wanted this year was stuff for his DS. He got 3 new games, a bunch of Legos, and more toys! We have a ton, Amanda, Phil's sister, says we are like a mini Toys-R-Us! We had a family party the next Monday, and we did his cake. No, I'm not the crafty mother who concocks a great cake, just the plain old german chocolate, just like his father. I just want Gavin to know, how much I love HIM! He is my handsomeness boo and I'm so glad that I get to be his mother!




Now for an update on Kyson. He weighed in at 19 lbs 6 oz and 28 inches long when we went to the doctor on the 13th. I was suprised with the weight, I thought for sure he was easily over 20 lbs. Anyway, I had him weighed yesterday and he was 21 lbs. He is growing like a weed, but has a minor health problem. I took him on the 3rd for an ear infection and after being on antibiotics since then, the PA said he had to give him 2 shots of Rocefin on Sat and Sun and told us to follow up with our regular Ped. and schedule with a ENT for tubes. I swear, the Ware Family has the crappiest ears! Today, at church another mother, whose children are also blessed with having had tubes said, "Why don't they just put the tubes in their ears when they circumsise them at birth?" I totally agree!!!!! Anyway, despite that Ky is a great kid and happy as can be. He is sitting up all on his own, LOVES food especially sweet potatoes and squash, but will not roll over to save his life. He can do it, I've witness it once, but that is it. He is perfectly content to sit and play and if he can't reach whatever he wants, he just finds something else to entertain him. He also LOVES to give kisses and not just a small kiss, full open mouth kisses! It's a little slobbery. But, it is all well worth it.
