Sledding

Since the kids our out of school for 2 full weeks, (YUCK), we have had to come up with things to do. No, we can't play webkinz or the DS ALL day. Anyway, they wanted to go sledding. Phil was working, so it was all me. I must say I needed to plan a good 45 minutes, just to get everyone in their snow clothes! Kyson was a little tricky. I had a snow outfit that was for 6 months, and we squeezed the fat butterball in, but he couldn't even bend his legs. However, he was as happy as pie, like always. We drove down to England Acres, a little park just down from our subdivision. Kyson fell asleep, which created a new problem. How was I suppose to help the kids sled with a sleeping baby? So, I put him back in his car seat and packed him up to the hill. Gavin was a trooper and helped his little sister out. He would push her and take her down the hill. It was cute and for once, they weren't fighting! Kyson woke up shortly after and I took him down the hill. He laughed and had a great time. I knew it was time to go when little Miss Jace decided that instead of sledding, she would rather lay on the snow and eat it. Red flag, go home! We had a lot of fun and the next day Phil took them while I stayed home with the baby.
